San Diego Zoo

Everyone told us that we had to see San Diego's zoo and obviously, it belongs to the biggest worldwide. Still, I've never seen that many space-restricted and sad animals - what does a lion wanna tell when he keeps on rubbing his head against the wall? Or the tiger running in circles in his cage?
Therefore, we only took pictures of the not too depressed animals like the following ones... and the flowers of course (the zoo looks more like a botanical garden with some exotic inhabitants than a zoo...)
