I decided to use my weekend day # 1 and go to Hanover's zoo. Some say their entrance fees are expensive but if you see how they set up the area and how much better animals' lives are here than in San Diego (big minus for them across the big pond): it's worth every Euro. And somehow you can see that our friends on 4 legs (or 2 like this dude just below) are not unhappy: they get their food daily, they live longer and safer than in nature (no hungry predators around) and they even reproduce from time to time (check the gorilla baby and the little elephant)... I was witness of turtle reproduction acts (wild, wild, wild scenes and noises) today. Wow...
Anyway, enjoy the weekend and my pictures as well. I'll be back
