Here's the next part of the story - the drive into California. Highway 49, its green hills and its cute towns are marvellous and absolutely worth being seen. Therefore some of those pics are coming next.

Sierra Nevada, Lake Tahoe

Here are some more pictures taken during our drive through the rough and wild Sierra Nevada. Due to some major winter storm, the drive turned out to be rather dangerous and we ended up having a damaged wind shield because of "flying" gravel and stuff.
Finally, we arrived at Carson City which was a pretty boring place. One of the smallest state capitals in the US and one of the least liveliest...
Since the weather was crappy and the area not too exciting, we skipped the "Skiing Lake Tahoe" part and went straight on to California and its beautiful Highway 49 region. But this is another story...
